Legal Assistant - Shrewsbury

An opportunity for a permanent full time Legal Assistant has arisen at our Shrewsbury office within the Commercial Property department.

As a Commercial Property Legal Assistant, you will:

  • Work closely with the Fee Earners of the department on varied caseloads.
  • Open files and provide transactional support to the department.
  • Use the HM Land Registry Portal and HMRC Gateway.
  • Prepare and Proofread documents.
  • Manage telephone enquiries and prepare correspondence documents through audio typing.
  • Maintain practice standards and office procedures as set out in the firm’s Practice.

The ideal Commercial Property Legal Assistant will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience within a similar role and an understanding of Property Law.
  • Highly organised with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Great communication skills and an ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and handle potential sensitive matters discreetly.
  • Deliver excellent service to clients and colleagues.
