Family Lawyer - Telford Office

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a full time Family Lawyer to join our expanding Family team at our Telford office.

The right candidate will be 12 – 18 months PQE with some experience in the following areas; divorce, children matters, domestic violence etc. The candidate will be working with lower end cases and Legal Aid.

You will also be able to demonstrate entrepreneurial flair and a commitment to building a successful caseload and profile within the team.

Conveyancer - Shrewsbury Office

An opportunity for a Residential Property Solicitor/Licensed Conveyancer/competent Conveyancer has arisen at our Shrewsbury office. We are now looking to expand and recruit an additional conveyancing fee earner due to the success of the office to date.

The candidate should be at least 3 years PQE or equivalent and capable of running their own caseload of sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equities of freehold, leasehold and shared ownership properties with minimal supervision.

The successful applicant will need to be enthusiastic and willing to market and generate work with full support from the team at the Shrewsbury office. They will also need to be friendly and approachable with both clients and professional contacts.

Commercial Litigation Secretary - Talbot House 

An opportunity for a permanent Secretary has arisen at our Shrewsbury office within the Commercial Litigation department.

As a Commercial Litigation Secretary you will:

  • Accurately produce documents, undertake digital dictation work, complete daily filing, arrange the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files
  • Prepare and check mail and enclosures for dispatch
  • Take initial client contact calls, discuss preliminaries, prepare client packs, make appointments
  • Contact courts and existing clients at fee earners requests as required in order to meet the needs of the case load
  • Undertake diary management tasks and all general administrative tasks associated with the position. Including; photocopying and paginating, preparing indexes, taking payments, and preparing billing schedules

The ideal Commercial Litigation Secretary will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in Litigation is desirable but not essential
  • IT literate
  • Enthusiastic
  • Good administration skills
  • Great communication skills

Trusts and Estates Secretary - Talbot House

An opportunity for a permanent full time Secretary has arisen at our Shrewsbury office within the Trusts and Estates department.

As a Trusts and Estates Secretary you will:

  • Accurately produce documents, undertake digital dictation work, complete daily filing, arrange the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files
