As the economy shows signs of recovery, solicitors are bracing themselves for a surge in Divorce Proceedings. Over the last 2 years, there has been a downturn in the number of couples finalising the breakdown of their marriage with divorce. This decision has generally due to financial reasons.

Be aware, that if you wish to instruct solicitors for divorce proceedings, you should do so promptly because as of April of next year, Legal Aid will no longer be available to fund Divorce Proceedings and financial applications to the Court.
