Ian's century ride for charity

On Sunday 30 July, Ian Bowker, Commercial Property Solicitor based at our Telford office is raising money for the Compton Hospice by completing a century ride; 100 miles in one day.

Ian is offering support to Compton Hospice https://www.compton-hospice.org.uk/ for the invaluable work it does,  by attempting to complete the Prudential Ride London 100 mile route, which is virtually the same route as was used by Bradley Wiggins etc. during the 2012 London Olympics.

Compton Hospice although based near Wolverhampton does cover Shropshire and Staffordshire.

Ian commented “I start cycling in the capital, ride out to Surrey and then back into London via some big hills.   If anyone would like to sponsor me, I have set up a Virgin Money donations’ page http://www.virginmoneygiving.com/team/straightouttacomptonh and please tick to add gift aid. Any support and donations would be very gratefully received for this worthwhile charity. The cycle will take approximately 6 hours to complete and includes two big climbs. For my part, I have never done a one day century and I am sure it will be challenging but good fun.”
